Restaurant experience is preferred to run a B.GOOD fresh food restaurant, but it is not a requirement. We accept both investors and owner/operators who have a strong business acumen and have the knowledge, experience, and ability needed to develop restaurants.
The initial franchise fee to get one of our fresh food restaurants off the ground is $40,000. The full capital investment for a franchise ranges between approximately $545,000-$951,000. We require a minimum net worth of $1,000,000 with access to $250,000 of liquid capital.
The overall investment will go toward things like construction of your fresh food restaurant, furnishing your store and fitting it with the necessary fixtures, and all the equipment you’ll need to run your franchise day to day, plus starting operating costs.
Absolutely. B.GOOD is actively looking for multi-unit development opportunities. Eighty percent (80%) of our fresh food restaurant locations are owned by multi-unit franchisees.
For specific information regarding earnings, costs, and other factors that could influence potential future earnings, please contact us and request a copy of our Franchise Disclosure Document and refer to Item 19. We also encourage potential and new franchisees to reach out to a B.GOOD near you and speak with current franchisees about what the process was like for them and how they were able to find success owning a fresh food restaurant.
B.GOOD franchisees pay a 5% royalty fee and a 1.5% advertising fee from gross sales numbers, as well as an initial franchise fee when becoming a B.GOOD franchise owner.
Both, actually. B.GOOD’s training program is intense and comprehensive. We support every new franchisee with the same energy and dedication that we poured into our first fresh food restaurant in Cambridge all those years ago.
Our training program starts with our brand & start-up program. You’ll learn everything you need to know about our brand and concept. From there, we will help you develop your fresh food restaurant’s start-up plan by training you on everything you’ll need to know before opening. We provide an in-depth, month-long training program where you will learn every aspect, and job, of running a B.GOOD restaurant.
Once you open, we will provide consistent support throughout the opening weeks and then ongoing support, and continuing education, in the months and years beyond, as necessary.
Our fresh food restaurants are usually between 2,000-2,400 square feet in size and are located in areas with high visibility and foot traffic such as retail centers and central business districts. The ideal franchise location will be in a spot that has a strong population during daytime hours and a high median income. For more information on where we’re actively looking to expand, check out our available territories page.
B.GOOD will aid you throughout the entire real estate process. We will help with site selection and everything that comes with it including finding a real estate broker, lease negotiation, planning, and management.
At this time, there are currently no financing options provided by B.GOOD for prospective franchisees. We do, however, work with various partners to find financing.
From our sustainably-sourced food to our seasonally-rotating menu, B.GOOD stands out from a crowded field of fast-casual restaurants. By committing to freshness and quality both in our food sourcing and in our restaurants, we’ve shown ourselves to be on the forefront of new trends in the food industry.
